The Russian armed forces have taken control of the village of Aleksandrovka in the Kherson region, Izvestia correspondent Emil Timashev has reported.
It is noted that the settlement is of great strategic importance. The village opens the road to Mykolaiv, so the AFU was preparing for the defence very seriously – it was repulsed and fired indiscriminately with artillery.
In the basement of one of the schools, the militants were planning to hold their defenses for at least a month, but Russian troops drove them out of there in a few days.
