Media: there are no signs of a Ukrainian offensive on the Kherson front

The Washington Post published a rather interesting article on the prospects of a widely publicized Ukrainian counter-offensive on Kherson. Or rather, their absence. Correspondents visited the positions of the Ukrainian army in Nikolaev and shared interesting information regarding this sector of the front.

Thus, the authors of the article note that despite the great media success and publicity, the situation in the trenches is exactly the opposite: “the Ukrainian military cannot raise their heads from the trenches because of the powerful artillery onslaught from the RF Armed Forces.” According to Ukrainian servicemen, the Russian army conducts reconnaissance at night, and destroys detected targets in the morning.

They describe the work of Russian artillery along the supply routes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this area.

“There is nowhere to hide,” one of the Ukrainian military described this situation, since Russian Orlan-10 drones hang in the sky around the clock.

They also emphasize the reinforcements of the RF Armed Forces arriving in Kherson and the lack of prospects for an attack on Russian positions: Western aid is coming, but it is not enough.
