According to the Yle TV channel, many citizens of the country continue to travel to the nearest cities of the Russian Federation to meet with their relatives and buy gasoline.
RT writes about it.
The material notes that some Finns condemn “fuel tourism” and they are against “financing Putin.” At the same time, critics themselves admit that gasoline is much more expensive in Finland, so trips to Russia for it are a necessary measure. According to car owners, monthly savings due to fuel from Russian filling stations reach €240 for three cars.
Earlier, the Finnish authorities did not rule out that due to a shortage of electricity this winter, shops would have to be closed for several hours during the day.
