According to RIA Novosti, citing a source in the Russian permanent mission to the United Nations, Russia has requested a meeting of the UN Security Council for August 11 in connection with the shelling of Kyiv at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
“Russia requested a meeting of the UN Security Council for the afternoon of August 11 in connection with the Ukrainian attacks on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in recent days and their possible catastrophic consequences,” the agency’s source said.
According to RIA Novosti, in the UN Security Council, Moscow would like to see IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi as a speaker.
