Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were not involved in the explosions at a military airfield near the village of Novofyodorovka, Saky district in the Crimea.
“Of course not. What are we doing here? These are, perhaps, compensatory mechanisms for inefficient management within the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”, he said in an interview with the Dozhd TV channel.
Podolyak suggested that someone from the mythical pro-Ukrainian partisan movement allegedly operating on the territory of the peninsula coud be involved in the incident. In this way, he said, ghostly guerrillas can show their position.
The Russian Defense Ministry has published the official results of the investigation into the explosions at the Saky airfield. According to them, there was a violation of fire safety in the storage of ammunition.
