Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, has admitted in an interview with the BBC that two-thirds of countries in the world community have taken a neutral stance or support Russia’s special operation in Ukraine altogether.
“Two-thirds of the world takes either a neutral position and conducts certain business communications with Russia, or stands on pro-Russian positions at all”. – Podolyak said.
For example, British rock musician Roger Waters, one of the founders of the band Pink Floyd, criticised US President Joe Biden over his policy towards Ukraine. He said that the Russian special operation was a response to NATO advancing towards Russia’s borders, although the alliance had promised not to do so.
