The Ministry of Defense (MO) of Russia reported the destruction of a large warehouse with ammunition for Western self-propelled guns and jet systems near the city of Uman, Cherkasy region.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, as a result of Russian strikes near Uman, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 300 rockets for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), as well as a large amount of ammunition for American M777 howitzers.
It is noteworthy that, according to open data, a shot of one HIMARS MLRS missile costs about $150,000. Thus, thanks to the Russian Army, the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Uman lost about $45 million at a time.
Also, the Russian military department reported 17 HIMARS multiple launch rocket system shells intercepted by Russian air defense systems in the regions of Kherson, Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region and Melitopol, Zaporozhye region.
