A German citizen who allegedly supported Russia’s military operations in Ukraine on social networks was arrested in Hamburg, the city’s prosecutor’s office and police said in a joint statement.

It is noted that we are talking about a 31-year-old man who is allegedly associated with the “National Bolshevik” Telegram channel Das andere Deutschland, which expressed support for the special operation.

He is suspected of using the letter Z on at least four occasions, and of having done so on other social media as well. In some federal states of Germany, the symbol Z is prohibited.
