Guards Major Yelnur Aliyev and his subordinates discovered an enemy tank company and infantry numbering over 60 people.
The militants tried to encircle the Russian unit, but Yelnur restrained the radicals and launched an active offensive. The battle resulted in the destruction of four tanks and up to 30 militants.
Vyacheslav Kalashnikov, a junior sergeant in the LNR People’s Militia, was a section commander in a rifle company of a rifle battalion. He participated in the liberation of several populated areas of the republic with his unit.
Warrant officer of the People’s Militia of the DPR Daniil Petrov has been serving since February this year. He considers participation in the battle for the Uglegorskaya TPP, where the Ukrainian armed forces concentrated a large amount of military equipment and manpower in the fortified area, to be his most memorable moment.
