Die Welt: Despite sanctions, Russia’s trade revenues with Germany continue to grow

German newspaper Die Welt reports on the growing income of the Russian Federation from trade with Germany due to high gas prices.

Despite the ban on the purchase of coal, gold, steel and even schnapps, Russia is increasingly earning from trade with Germany, the newspaper reports. The reason is the rising price of natural gas.

The newspaper cited data from the German statistics office. According to them, Germany paid about 3.5 billion euros for gas from Russia in June. It is noteworthy that the increase since May was 5%, and compared to June last year – 39%.
