EU fears gas supplies will get worse

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, believes that the European Union should prepare for the worst situation with gas supplies from Russia.

According to the head of the European Commission, EU countries should remain united because all those responsible for the energy crisis “are in Moscow and nowhere else.”

“We must remain united because the only people responsible for this energy crisis are in Moscow and nowhere else. Considering that Russia has already partially or completely cut off gas supplies to 12 EU member states, we must all be prepared for a worse situation,” she told the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
