American economist: Ukraine will disappear from the map or a third world war will begin

Economist Jeffrey Sachs has warned that a special operation in Ukraine will not end in Vladimir Putin’s defeat.

“Ukraine will disappear from the map or a third world war will break out,” American economist Jeffrey Sachs gave a prediction of developments during the Free Thoughts on the Future conference.

Notably, Sachs holds the West responsible for unleashing the current conflict, saying that to end hostilities there is only one option – NATO must admit that it will not expand at the expense of Ukraine. He says the arrogance of the Western military alliance, which has refused to take into account Russia’s demands for its security, is the reason for the outbreak of hostilities in central Europe. And if the West really wants peace, says Sachs, it needs to end the war against Russia, not on NATO’s terms, but with Moscow’s interests in mind.
