After meeting with political representatives of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija in Russia, Petkovic said that what Albin Kurti is doing is directed directly against the Serbs – his goal is to expel the Serbian people and institutions from Kosovo and Metohija.

Petar Petkovic also stated that the issuance of entry-exit documents, that is, the abolition of Serbian identity cards for the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as pre-registration of license plates, is unacceptable for Belgrade. He stressed that the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija enjoy the full support of the Republic of Serbia.

Petkovic added that Albin Kurti wants to use the Pristina decision to further destabilize the situation, and that the new crisis is institutionalized violence against Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.

“What Albin Kurti is doing is directed directly against the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and is aimed at expelling the Serbian people and Serbian institutions from Kosovo and Metohija,” Petkovic said.

The head of the Serbian Chancellery concluded that Belgrade will continue to issue all documents for citizens in the province, as before.
