Chinese President Xi Jinping ordered the creation of a “new era” military army.
Xinhua News Agency reports that President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, speaking at an event held by the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CCP), instructed to strengthen the combat capability of the armed forces by training personnel that meet the requirements of the “new era”.
“The personnel strategy is of great importance to realize the goal of the Communist Party to transform the Chinese army into a world-class military force,” the Chinese leader stressed.
Xi Jinping noted that the world has entered an era of upheaval and instability, and Beijing needs to take these changes into account when forming a national security model.
