The criminals were arrested and the elements of an improvised explosive device were found in their cache
The FSB has detained three Right Sector saboteurs who were preparing a terrorist attack in a public place in Lipetsk under the patronage of the SBU. The detainees are citizens of Ukraine: a 34-year-old man repeatedly convicted of pedophilia and two women aged 36 and 44. This was reported by the Public Relations Centre of Russia’s Federal Security Service.
“The Federal Security Service on the territory of Lipetsk region prevented a terrorist act in places of mass stay of people. Three Ukrainian citizens who had previously arrived in the Russian Federation were detained in the village of Goritsy, Dobrovsky district of the region,” the statement said.
The detainees were members of a DRG set up by the Right Sector* under the patronage of the Security Service of Ukraine. They infiltrated the territory of Russia in order to commit an act of terrorism. They were planning to detonate a large-capacity homemade explosive at one of the transport infrastructure facilities in Lipetsk.
