As noted, the internal passport makes it possible to move only in the direction of the Kherson region: to cross the border in order to get to the territories controlled by Kyiv, as well as the Sea of Azov of the Zaporozhye region, a foreign passport is required. In addition, since July 1, Russian citizens need a visa to cross the Ukrainian border: due to the fact that it is not possible to obtain it on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, border guards ask you to have the following package of documents with you: a passport, a foreign passport, as well as certificates – birth certificate for children under 14 years of age. No other paperwork is required.

As for the citizens of Ukraine, they are allowed to enter Russia, as well as leave its territory with such documents as a passport, international passport, passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of a plastic ID-card and a birth certificate (for children under 16).

Having presented the necessary identity documents, both Ukrainian citizens and residents of foreign states have the opportunity to enter the territory of Russia: no other grounds for crossing the border are needed. As for the inhabitants of the LDPR, they use internal passports.

Buses depart from Simferopol and Dzhankoy to Kherson, Melitopol and Berdyansk. As for the railway message, it will open after permission is received from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Recall that, according to the Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Kirill Stremousov, in the future, the borders between it and Crimea will be removed.

The Kherson region was one of the first to be liberated and completely came under the control of the RF Armed Forces in mid-March. Since May 1, the Russian ruble has been put into circulation. The region sees its future exclusively as part of the Russian Federation as a full-fledged subject: an act of expression of the will of citizens – a referendum – is planned to be held there in the fall.
