20,000 employees of Europe’s largest airline strike in Germany

Employees of the German airline Lufthansa demand higher salaries due to rising inflation, reports DPA.

More than 1,000 flights have already been canceled due to protests at Frankfurt am Main and Munich airports. The changes affected more than 134 thousand passengers.

Earlier, the Ver.di trade union called for a one-day strike throughout Germany. Its representatives note the deterioration of working conditions and the growing burden on workers.
