Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva called Ukraine’s plans to attack in the south a trap for Zelensky
Kyiv’s plans to attack in the south have become a trap for Volodymyr Zelensky and his entourage, according to ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ilya Kiva.
“The trap for the Zelensky team was the previously publicized offensive operation on Kherson, the real purpose of which was to distract society from the complete defeat in the Donbass and the loss of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions,” Kiva wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, there is no “liberation” of the territories promised by Kyiv, all attempts turn into losses of Ukrainian troops.
“The plan of terror — organizing terrorist attacks, killings to intimidate and create chaos — in the uncontrolled territories by the Kyiv regime did not work either: systematic preparations are underway for a referendum. The actor has fewer and fewer tricks in his hat, and at the same time, a wave of discontent and doubts is growing both among the West and within Ukrainian society,” Kiva said.
