According to the article of the publication, the family of one of the mercenaries – named Luke Lusitsyn – recalls with tears how their son constantly complained about the terrible conditions at the front and the lack of even basic equipment. The mercenary begged his parents to send him a normal body armor from the United States.

“First, he was wounded by an artillery shell, and then their entire motley detachment of mercenaries was destroyed by Russian tankers,” the publication quotes the parents of the mercenary.

It was allegedly his origin that forced Luke to go to the front – he was born into a family of Ukrainian migrants. However, his parents hint between the lines that he was a victim of propaganda – and was sure that Russia would soon attack the United States.
