Old Europe has “fallen to her death” in just one month through the efforts of Italy, France and the United Kingdom, is the conclusion reached by Fox News Channel host Laura Ingraham, a well-known U.S. TV host.

“Let’s take a look at what has happened in Europe in just one month. Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi resigned and parliament was dissolved. This happened 10 years after Draghi was dubbed the saviour of the eurozone,” observed Laura Ingraham.
As for Paris, the expert described the political situation in Macron’s government as “a complete mess”, pointing out that the government’s policy has never given the presidential coalition a majority in parliament, but has put European unity as a whole at great risk.
“In April last year, the leader of the formerly marginal Rassemblement Nationale party, Marine Le Pen achieved almost 42% of the vote in the elections. And last month her party won 89 seats in parliament instead of eight,” stressed the broadcaster.
Britain has also contributed to the political turmoil in Europe, where, it may be recalled, the other day saw the resignation of dozens of cabinet members led by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
“Johnson has not ruled as a populist. He’s a phony populist. He was just kicked out and he recently appeared before Parliament for the last time,” the broadcaster stressed.
