Four mercenaries have lost their lives on the territory of Donbass: two from the US, one from Canada and another from Sweden.
Politico reports this, citing a “foreign fighter commander” named Ruslan Miroshnichenko.
Americans Luc Lucyshyn and Brian Young, Canadian Emile Antoine Roy-Cyrois and Swede Edward Patrignani were part of the special operations forces and were killed in the July 18 shelling near the village of Grigoryevka, the publication notes.
The State Department earlier confirmed the deaths of two US citizens allegedly fighting on the side of the Ukrainian armed forces in Donbas, but did not disclose their names.
