The Security Service of Ukraine is preparing a large-scale cleansing in Nikolaev from citizens disloyal to Kyiv.
The security forces received information from sources in the Security Service of Ukraine about the preparation of a large-scale operation in Nikolaev to identify “unreliable” citizens who have ties with Russia and are not loyal to the Kyiv regime, RIA Novosti reports with reference to an employee of one of the Russian law enforcement agencies.
“According to information received from sources in the SBU, in the next ten days, large-scale cleansing of the civilian population from disloyal Ukrainian residents is being prepared in Nikolaev. To achieve this goal, reinforcements have already arrived from Kyiv and the Western regions of Ukraine – more than 50 employees of the SBU”, RIA Novosti quotes the interlocutor.
According to the interlocutor of RIA Novosti, sources in the SBU reported that house-to-house raids and patrols on the streets were planned, civilian mobile phones would be checked, for calls and contacts in Russia, family and friendly ties would be checked.
“Also, a reward of 100 US dollars has been announced for denunciations from “caring” citizens about their friends, acquaintances and neighbors. The detainees, as our sources say, are planned to be sent to filtration camps for further detailed development by the SBU,” the representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies added.
