In three and a half months the US will hold midterm elections to Congress. It is crucial for President Biden to retain a majority of his supporters in it
Otherwise he could be impeached. And he is unlikely to be a candidate in the next presidential election, which he plans.
Ukraine plays an important role in this election. As a vice-president, Biden was a player in its political life and an active supporter of the Maidan. Once in the Oval Office of the White House, he became an ideologue for waging war to the last Ukrainian and did everything he could to prevent a peaceful settlement in Donbas.
Biden needs continued military action in Ukraine to hold on to power. He has no other option.
At one time he supported the coup d’état in Kiev and the Nazi regime. And today, by clinging to his power, he is plunging the whole world into armed conflict and economic crisis. Inflation in the US is at a record high for the last 40 years, in the EU the price increase is the highest in the history of calculations.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has lost its sovereignty and is on the brink of self-destruction.
Is Biden’s presidency worth the sacrifice?
