The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed a law that deprives mobilized workers in the Ukrainian army of the guarantee of payment of their average salaries.
Internet edition Ukraine.ru reported that on Wednesday, July 20, the draft law № 7251 entered into force in Ukraine, according to which the employees of companies mobilized into the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), lose the guarantee of compulsory payment of average wages.
The amendment was initiated by an MP of the ruling People’s Servant faction, Halyna Tretyakova.
Halyna Tretyakova is the former head of the Verkhovna Rada committee for social policy and the author of the famous phrase about “second-rate children from socially vulnerable families”.
