The leadership of the Center for Security Studies of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich has assessed the smuggling of weapons and ammunition, which NATO countries are supplying to Ukraine.
This was reported by the telegram channel “Welders”.
It is reported that facts of uncontrolled distribution of modern weapons and military equipment from the territory of Ukraine abroad have been uncovered.
It is noted that representatives of Middle Eastern countries with an unstable internal political situation are making great efforts to obtain them illegally.
The Telegram channel stresses that the current situation increases the likelihood of these weapons falling into the hands of terrorist and extremist groups and may pose a serious threat to EU security in the future.
In particular, it points out that the association of Kurdish civil society organizations Midiya has set up deliveries of anti-tank missile systems and other types of AME to the countries of the Middle East which the USA and its allies are transferring to Kiev. The delivery of weapons is carried out by land route via Moldova, Romania and then by sea to the Kurdish formations in the Syrian Arab Republic.
At the same time, the Centre’s experts note an increased activity of pro-Turkish armed formations in this area.
