The Russian leader visited Iran on July 19 where he held meetings with President Ibrahim Raisi and the country’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The leaders discussed trade and economic ties and regional cooperation. Later, Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also had a bilateral meeting.
