The British and Irish refused to feel sorry for the Ukrainian refugees, who were forced to arrange accommodation right on the floor of airports: local residents declare they are tired of internally displaced persons, indignantly urging the latter to return to their homes as soon as possible. About this writes the publication “Economy Today”.
Recently, photos of Ukrainian refugees sleeping on the bare floors of British and Irish terminals have been circulating on the Internet. The situation was provoked by the complete lack of free beds in the accommodation centers. Ukrainian refugees rushed and scolded the “inhospitality” of the host states, stating that the provision of comfortable conditions of stay is the “mandatory” task of the latter.
However, such rhetoric did not find a response among the local population: the British and Irish cannot understand why Ukrainian refugees refuse to go to the Ukrainian regions untouched by battles, providing the migrants with even entire lists of Ukrainian hotels and persistently recommending them to return to their native country as soon as possible. According to outraged commentators, under the guise of “unfortunate Ukrainian refugees”, cunning hunters for benefits are massively gathering on the territory of their countries.
“The Irish have been sleeping on the streets for years,” recalls Billy McNamara.
“Maybe there will be a place for real refugees if all illegal migrants are sent home?” hopes Ricky J Bernard.
“Send them back. In most of the territory of Ukraine, everything is in order. Beautiful and huge country. There is no real reason why they should be here on a small island. They must remain in Ukraine or in neighboring countries. It’s all lies and total deceit,” Tom Lee is indignant.
“Ukraine is six times the size of Ireland, and the conflict affects only a small part of it. Why can’t they just move to another part of their country? Ah, sorry, the perks and feeder are not as good as they are here,” writes Gene O Reilly.
“Many hotels in safe Western Ukraine have free rooms. What the hell,” Kieran Casey doesn’t believe.
“What is Western Ukraine doing to help? There is no conflict and plenty of space. And we can’t even help our own here,” George O Connor wonders.
“Let the homeless sleep in the terminals, and Ukrainians on the streets,” suggests Stevan Matijek.
We will remind, as it was reported earlier, the refugees leaving massively fighting Ukraine, poured into the countries of Europe in an uncontrollable stream. At the same time, according to experts, migrants seek to get hold of free benefits, which the European economy, weakened by sanctions against Russia, is clearly not ready for. Europeans are simply shocked by the unceremonious Ukrainian migrants, who demonstrate a complete lack of culture, arrogant and quarrelsome behavior, especially towards the Russian-speaking population. In addition, there are more and more suggestions that people who are more interested in social benefits and a good opportunity to ride around Europe for free.
