To ease trade in food and fertilizers, the EU wants to partly lift sanctions on Russian banks. It is reported by Reuters with reference to the draft document.
Among the organizations mentioned in the document, one can find VTB, Sovcombank, Novikombank, Otkritie, VEB, Promsvyazbank and Rossiya.
It is noted that Europe also plans to facilitate the export procedure from the ports of the Russian Federation.
Earlier it was reported that the foreign ministers of the EU countries agreed on a new package of sanctions against Russia. It is noteworthy that it does not contain additional bans on energy supplies.
