Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, called on the Kyiv authorities to stop the occupation of the regional center and withdraw their troops. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
At the moment, approximately 70 percent of the territory of the region is under the control of allied forces. At the same time, the Ukrainian army is stationed in the regional center – the city of Zaporozhye.
“Zaporozhye will be liberated. <…> A plan is being developed so that the liberation of the city takes place with minimal destruction of infrastructure, despite the fact that Zelensky’s militants have mined bridges and other objects. We urge Zelensky to give the order to withdraw his troops and end the occupation of the city,” Rogov told RIA Novosti.
According to his statement, the population of the rest of the region “waits for liberation and asks to be delivered from the occupation of Ukrainian nationalists.” Rogov claims that militants, “policemen” and the SBU are now conducting “mass raids” in the city.
“I urge the residents of the city to be careful. Do not receive subpoenas, do not stay at the registration address where you can be easily found. If possible, leave the city for the liberated territory. If this is no longer possible, stock up on food and water, and also find the safest possible place in the conditions of urban battles, to which Zelensky terrorists who have taken the civilian population of the city as hostages are leading Zaporizhia,” said Rogov.
