Zelensky’s office announced the air defense systems and armored vehicles necessary for the counteroffensive.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky, said that armored vehicles are required for the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian troops. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“We lack mobile air defense systems <…> and armored vehicles. Since the Russian army is still superior to us in two parameters: the number of infantry planted on armored vehicles and the artillery that supports it”, he said.
According to Arestovich, Ukraine has found a way to counter Russian artillery, a process slowed down by a shortage of armored vehicles. An adviser to the head of Zelensky’s office believes that as soon as the delivery of armored vehicles occurs, “the circuit will close and we will be ready for a counteroffensive.”
