The head of the administration of the Kakhovka district, Vladimir Leontyev, announced plans to move part of the humanitarian aid from the Kherson humanitarian aid center of the United Russia party to Novaya Kakhovka, where about 35 tons of products were burned as a result of Ukrainian shelling.
“Now we are picking up part of the cargo from the humanitarian aid center in Kherson. About a thousand food packages, about 5 tons of food, have already been sent. We’ll organize more tomorrow. Kherson reserves will then be replenished,” said Vladimir Leontiev.
Recall, according to Leontiev, it was planned to launch a food hub in Novaya Kakhovka, but as a result of a massive Ukrainian artillery shelling on July 11, about 35 tons of products burned down. It is known that the humanitarian distribution center in Nova Kakhovka provided food not only to the city, but also to nearby areas. Part of the food cargo went to the front line.
The Crimean authorities also declared their readiness to provide the necessary assistance to the victims in Nova Kakhovka.
