John Bolton, former national security adviser to former US President Donald Trump, admitted in an interview with CNN that he was involved in preparing coups abroad.
To the remark of a CNN journalist that the preparation of a coup d’état “does not require a great mind,” Bolton replied that he “does not agree.”
“As someone who helped plan a coup not here but in other parts of the world, I disagree. It requires a lot of work,” said a former official, commenting on the capture of the Capitol by Trump supporters on January 6, 2021.
