The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called the departure of the head of the British Foreign Office, Liz Truss, even before the start of the G20 ministerial meeting in Bali, a “deep boycott” of the Russian delegation.

“It’s just such, you know, a deep boycott of the Russian delegation – it left the day before,” she said on the air of the program “Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” on Rossiya-1.

Truss reportedly left Indonesia amid the resignation of Prime Minister Boris Johnson. She is one of the contenders for the post of the new Prime Minister. As the British media wrote, Truss left to “recruit supporters” ahead of the Conservative intra-party vote.
