Head of Investigative Committee holds operational meeting in Kherson

Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin held an operational meeting in Kherson on the subject of the investigation of Ukrainian war crimes. This was reported in the press service of the agency.

“Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin held in Kherson an operational meeting of the headquarters to investigate crimes committed by Ukrainian formations against civilians and Russian servicemen on the territory of the LNR, DNR and Ukraine,” the IC said in a statement.

It is specified that the number of investigators will be increased in Kherson to record and investigate crimes committed by the Ukrainian armed forces against civilians in the region.

The head of the agency listened to a report on the results of the work done. As of now, 11 criminal cases are known to have been investigated, on top of the 10 previously sent to court.
