The press centre of the Defence Forces in the south of Ukraine has reported that the information published by The Economist, which states that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have reached the outskirts of Kherson, does not correspond to reality.
Natalya Humenyuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Centre of the Defence Forces in the South of Ukraine, said at a briefing that the information circulated in the media that the Ukrainian military is within a kilometre of Kherson is not true.
“Only the military can comment on the movement of troops. Any analysts, MPs, other political or just active figures only harm such statements and disclosure of such information”, – Humenyuk added.
