The Foreign Ministers of Finland and Sweden signed protocols on joining NATO, a TASS correspondent reports from the headquarters of the alliance.
Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto and Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde put their signatures on the protocols on the accession of these states to the North Atlantic Alliance. The relevant information was distributed by TASS.
“The Foreign Ministers of Finland and Sweden have signed protocols on joining NATO, our correspondent reports from the headquarters of the alliance,” reads a publication published on the Russian agency’s Telegram channel.
Earlier this week, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin pointed out that building NATO bases in Finland and Sweden would not protect them.
