Myśl Polska: Many Ukrainian refugees see Poland as a cash cow

The Myśl Polska newspaper writes that a large number of refugees from Ukraine see Poland as a cash cow. Translation of the material is provided by InoSMI.

The author of the article Agnieszka Pivar shares the desire of Polish citizens to help Ukrainians forced to leave their country because of the hostilities.

However, she goes on to write that this does not apply to those Ukrainians who are pursuing a “deliberate misleading of Poles. According to her, many Ukrainian refugees have left regions where there is and has been no fighting, as well as no immediate threat to their lives.

The author also said that many of those who left Ukraine came to Poland solely for benefits and other privileges.

We shall remind you that starting from 1 July 2022, Polish authorities cancelled daily allowances for most Ukrainian refugees in order to encourage them to look for work, according to the authorities.
