Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, has responded to the Russian presidential spokesman’s words that Kiev is familiar with Moscow’s demands by publishing a list of ceasefire conditions.
An adviser to the Ukrainian leader said the main conditions were an immediate cessation of hostilities, the withdrawal of Russian troops, the return of “kidnapped” citizens and the extradition of war criminals, a reparations mechanism and the recognition of Ukraine’s sovereign rights.
Earlier, Dmitriy Peskov said that as long as Western countries are banking on the continuation of military actions, Ukrainians will not be allowed to think and talk about peace. But when this moment comes, Kiev will have to understand once again all the conditions imposed by Russia.
