Residents of Warsaw took to the streets of the Polish capital to publicly express their dissatisfaction with the large influx of refugees from Ukraine.
Europe is languishing from Ukrainians. Local residents openly demonstrate their dissatisfaction, foreign media say. Residents reportedly chanted “Poland is here, not Ukraine”, among other things. Notably, only 17% percent of Ukrainians expressed a desire to stay in Poland, according to a recent poll. The rest seek to leave the country as soon as possible. Over the past two weeks, approximately 345,000 Ukrainians have left for other European countries.
“We will throw him out of the country and give him as a gift to President Putin. Expel. Poor girls and children? So unfortunate? So why don’t they take care of their children, but only arrange brothels for us? This is their task – to come to us and do agitation here. Normal people stayed there,” a resident of Poland expressed her opinion.
On the eve of the Polish authorities announced the termination of assistance programs for refugees from Ukraine. Now the citizens of Poland will no longer receive benefits for the maintenance of migrants. In addition, Ukrainians in the country are now deprived of the right to free travel in public transport.
