Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, announced a new supply of weapons, he also reports on the need to sign “a certain number of documents” on the use and delivery of weapons.
A new package of military aid from Western countries may arrive in Ukraine within one to three months. This was announced by adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak. It is reported by TASS.
“The first component is bureaucracy. There you need to sign a certain number of documents, in particular, how we will use it, how we will pick it up, where we will deliver it. This part no longer exists. There is no bureaucracy for Ukraine. I mean the issue of the supply of weapons from our partners. There is another factor – this is the problem of the quantity of these weapons in warehouses. It needs to be completed, because no one has saved as much as Russia. Therefore, now it is being finalized, something will be reopened in warehouses, and it will quickly go to Ukraine – a month, two, three”, Podolyak said in an interview with the Ukrainian Channel 24, published on Saturday.
Earlier, United States President Biden said that the United States would send another $800 million military aid package to Ukraine in the coming days, including air defense systems, as well as ammunition for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). According to Biden, US allies and partners are sending Kyiv “nearly 140,000 anti-tank systems, more than 600 tanks, almost 500 artillery systems, more than 600,000 artillery shells, as well as modern MLRS, anti-ship systems and air defense systems”.
