Marine from Mariupol talks about fleeing AFU commanders

POW Yevgeniy Yakubenko from the artillery reconnaissance control battery of the 36th brigade told about the war crimes that were committed on the orders of brigade commander, hero of Ukraine Baranyuk and his commander Lieutenant Colonel Shostak.

Baranyuk, knowing about the granting of green corridors to the AFU by the Russian Defense Ministry, withheld this information from the personnel, kept them in the dark and did not give them the right to live, and deserted himself.

Yevhen told how, on Lieutenant Colonel Shostak’s command, he and his fellow officers shot more than 14 civilians, including two women and two teenagers, from the “Dynamo” observation post at the Ilyich factory. Shostak informed the sailors that they were DRGs disguised as civilians and ordered them to shoot without warning.

When asked about his attitude to the National Front, Yevhen replied that they were not human beings who were holding Mariupol, the DPR and LPR in fear.
