Zelensky demanded at NATO summit to resolve conflict “only on the battlefield”

The North Atlantic Alliance will accept only a military scenario for resolving the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported by TASS, citing a statement by the Belgian prime minister.

Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo outlined the Alliance’s position on Ukraine on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Madrid on Wednesday, June 29. According to him, Alliance members have already told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski that the Ukrainian conflict should be solved “only by military means”. NATO is committed to continue helping Kiev to do so.

“We have already had the opportunity to talk to President Zelensky. It is very important to keep talking to him, stressing that the war can only be won on the battlefield and we must continue to support President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine so that they win on the battlefield”, – said De Croo.
