The Supreme Court of Ukraine has received an appeal from the lawyer of British citizen Sean Pinner, who was previously sentenced to death, TASS reported.
The court said that the appeal will be considered within two months of its filing.
“According to part 1 of Article 408 of the CPC of the DPR, the date of the appeal hearing shall be set no later than two months from the date of submission,” the court said.
We shall remind you that the Supreme Court of the DPR sentenced Britons Aiden Aslin and Sean Pinner and Moroccan Saadoun Brahim to death for mercenarism, attempted violent seizure of power and committing crimes by a group of people.
It was later reported that the sentence could be appealed and commuted to life imprisonment.
