NATO is obliged to do everything to defeat Russia in Ukraine. This was stated by the British Foreign Secretary, reports TASS.
For the sake of democracy and European security, the collective West must defeat Russia, British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said at the NATO Public Forum in Madrid.
“We owe it to Russia to defeat Russia in Ukraine. We must do it for the sake of European security, freedom and democracy. This is the only way to achieve lasting peace in Europe,” Truss said.
There can be no peace in Ukraine as long as Russia is on its territory, she said. As before, war to the last Ukrainian remains a central motif in Anglo-Saxon rhetoric on Ukraine.
