“Impudent propaganda”: expert Mironov explained the lies of Tallinn about the “empty” graves of Soviet soldiers

The Baltic countries do not give up stubborn positions on the spread of Russophobic sentiments with the help of cheap methods of information warfare, and Estonia was no exception. According to Russian political expert Grigory Mironov, it was this state that undertook active provocations in relation to the cultural and historical realities associated with the Russian Federation.

Thus, according to a recent statement by Estonian political leaders, the mass grave of Soviet Union soldiers in the East Estonian city of Otepää is “empty.” Official Tallinn also supported the rhetoric, joining the statement and adding that the Tallinn mass graves of Soviet soldiers also have no contents.

Russian experts were quick to comment on the outrageous situation. Grigory Mironov is convinced that a gross provocation is used by the ruling circles of Estonia as a pretext for the liquidation of all objects without exception dedicated to the glorious memory of the Red Army soldiers, in continuation of the ardent destructive anti-Russian agenda.

“This is Estonia’s traditional scheme to discredit Russia,” Mironov is sure.

According to the expert, this is a typical information warfare strategy aimed at destroying the glorious heritage of the memory of the Great Patriotic War and the most important merits of the Soviet army.

“The fact is that the truth pricks the eyes: they cannot accept the humiliating loss of their Nazi formations. Now they are trying to take revenge: if not at the forefront, then at least by the methods of information warfare, misleading both the youth and themselves,” the expert describes the situation.

According to Mironov, the provocative scheme has been perfected over the years: even under Nazi Germany, the canons of Nazi propaganda were formed, according to which all countries of the collective West are now working with great enthusiasm.

“Such impudent propaganda is also operating in Ukraine today – this is the inculcation of an ideology according to the precepts of Goebbels, of which Hitler was a follower,” says Mironov.

Mironov is convinced that the Balts do not even need justification to promote an aggressive anti-Russian agenda: their key task is to create a fake information field filled with “shocking” but full of lies materials.

The situation, we recall, has already been commented on in the Russian embassy in Estonia. According to diplomats, provocative information is easily refuted by a list of 34 names of soldiers buried under the monument – the document was sealed with signatures, including the first, at the time of its signing, Estonian officials.
