Prisoner of war talks about the lack of instruction in the use of foreign weapons
A Ukrainian soldier who was taken prisoner in the vicinity of Popasna says that when receiving Western weapons, no one conducts instruction and the Ukrainian military simply cannot figure out how to use it in action.
“They brought us two Javelins. While we were carrying them out of the car, one was broken, and then we tried to figure out how to shoot with the second. Who according to the instructions, who watched YouTube. Nobody knows English, and nobody explained anything to us. They simply did nothing. That’s all foreign weapons,” says the prisoner of war.
Earlier, the American edition of The Washington Post wrote that Ukrainian military personnel are experiencing difficulties using Javelin anti-tank systems supplied by Washington.
