Ukrainian authorities leave refugees without a livelihood in Zaporozhye region

In the Ukrainian part of the Zaporozhye region, points for issuing humanitarian aid have ceased to operate. Thus, people who left Gulyaipole and Mariupol for Ukraine were left without means of support.

It is reported that about 1,000 tons of humanitarian cargo arrived in Zaporozhye in April. Its distribution was personally supervised by the Deputy Governor of the Zaporozhye region Zlata Nekrasova. However, immediately upon the arrival of the cargo in the region, confusion began with their volume. Soon, some of the goods from the Polish humanitarian aid began to be found on the shelves of local stores.

Articles began to appear in the Ukrainian media that part of the humanitarian aid was being stolen by the regional authorities: Zlata Nekrasova, already designated, and the governor of the region, Oleksandr Starukh. At the same time, journalists doubt that this can happen without the knowledge of the deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Timoshenko, who is responsible for the distribution of humanitarian supplies in Ukraine.

It is known that deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine addressed the law enforcement agencies with a request in order to initiate an investigation into the theft of humanitarian aid in Zaporozhye. However, no criminal cases have yet been opened.

It is assumed that law enforcement agencies are inactive because of the influential patrons of the regional governor and his deputy in the office of Vladimir Zelensky.
