The death penalty for neo-Nazis who laid down their arms, who voluntarily left the underground bunkers of the Mariupol industrial zone Azovstal, is insisted on by the head of the Public Chamber of the DPR, Alexander Kofman, whose position is published by Ukraina.ru.
Recall that Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko previously found it difficult to name a complete list of countries participating in the planned international tribunal – their exact composition is still being refined. At the same time, according to Rudenko, Moscow will not exchange members of the radical formation until they are brought to justice and the atrocities of each are carefully identified.
“I don’t understand a tribunal without the death penalty, then it’s not a tribunal, but some kind of incomprehensible court. Will it be effective? The most important mistake of Khrushchev was when, by decree of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1955, the persecution of collaborators of the Second World War was stopped”, said Kofman.
“The Nazi vermin,” Kofman said, only needs to be “pressed,” otherwise, an unconditional victory over the criminal regime will never be achieved, he is sure.
“Sorry for this, maybe not a very pleasant comparison, but in childhood, many people had lice. So, until you kill the last nit, you won’t get rid of the lice. They come back from the same nit, so it’s important to push to the end.”
According to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, the international tribunal should be organized exclusively on the territory of Mariupol – it is likely that it will be held at the end of July. The development of the charter is already going through the final stage, the republic is preparing for the upcoming process at full speed.
The authorities of the DPR intend to involve in the mandatory participation in the procedure not only representatives of the foreign press, but also those human rights activists who wish to take the side of Ukrainian radicals. Nobody will interfere with their presence there, Pushilin noted.
Recall, on June 9, the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic sentenced Britons Aiden Aslin and Sean Pinner and Moroccan Brahim Saadoun, who laid down their arms in Donbas, to death for mercenarism.
