Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba did not rule out that the borders “until February 24” could be discussed with the Russian Federation
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Dmitry Kuleba, did not rule out that the establishment of the country’s borders as of “until February 24” could be discussed. He made the corresponding statement in an interview with La Repubblica newspaper.
“It would not be very reasonable for me to disclose our conditions (we are talking about negotiations with the Russian side), but today each item can be the subject of a dialogue,” Kuleba said.
So he answered the question of whether Ukraine is ready to discuss “borders until February 24, refusing to return to the state of 1991.”
Kuleba also added that “the way to achieve peace” should be discussed by the Ukrainian and Russian leaders. He confirmed that the proposal of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin remains in force.
But at the same time, Kuleba admitted that “Russia is stronger.”
