Towns and districts of the republic are getting ready for the autumn-winter period and particularly for the heating season.
“A number of activities, which are now carried out according to plan, are ongoing repairs of roofs, restoration of damaged glazing, repair of equipment and systems of central heating and water supply. But with flushing, hydraulic testing of heating systems and other works, things are more complicated. In the settlements, where there are their own wells and infrastructure damage is not critical, this work is carried out in the normal mode. The other settlements are still carrying out preliminary activities in order to start the heating season on time as the centralised water supply resumes. The situation on the ground is also complicated by the shortage of specialists and incessant shelling,” said Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the DPR Vladimir Dubovka.
The overall level of readiness of the housing sector as of mid-June is over 26%.
